Overview

A tax question begins with start, which uses the requested task and jurisdiction to return a plan and identify relevant skills, or asks for clarification when the location is missing. start_help provides orientation when the task is unclear. Users can browse by jurisdiction, accounting domain or role, search for concepts and guided methods, then retrieve complete skill text or selected sections. Skill records expose quality tiers and, where applicable, named accountant verification. For research spanning multiple skills, list_rule_facets identifies valid filters before search_rules bundles matching guidance with official references. Returned figures still need checking against those sources.

Operational tools add tax-calendar deadlines and live VAT registration checks through VIES, limited to EU member states and Northern Ireland. Audit-exemption checks cover private limited companies in Malta and the UK, returning criterion-level thresholds, citations and verification status; missing prior-year data can leave the result requiring review. Users can inspect jurisdiction coverage and verifier credentials. At an explicit user request, feedback can be sent or a working paper submitted for a paid accountant review. Submission produces a booking link, and an accountant receives nothing until the user engages.
