Overview

Communication workflows in phone-mcp connect contact lookup with outgoing calls, incoming-call handling, and SMS retrieval or sending. The dialing tool starts a call without asking for confirmation, while SMS sending uses the messaging interface to enter the recipient and content, send the message, and exit the app. Users can also end calls, inspect sent messages, and open a contact form populated with supplied details. For device navigation, the app tools can enumerate installed software, launch a package or a particular activity, and force-stop an application.

Screen automation combines structured UI inspection with taps, swipes, text entry, and key presses. An assistant can search for elements by text, identifier, class, or content description, then wait or scroll to locate a target. UI monitoring can watch for changes such as text or identifiers appearing and disappearing, supporting checks after an interaction. Additional actions include opening browser links, screen recording, media playback toggling, and alarm creation. The Python-based plugin uses stdio for MCP connections and requires configured ADB tools, USB debugging, and an Android device connected to the computer by USB.
