Outlook MCP Server

Outlook inbox reviews can combine filtered searches, conversation reading, attachment downloads, and batch exports. Messages, search results, or threads can be exported as Markdown, EML, MBOX, JSON, or HTML. Header inspection covers DKIM, SPF, DMARC, delivery paths, and spam scores for investigative work, while delta sync reports mailbox changes for incremental polling. Personal accounts have limited free-text search, so the project falls back to alternative search strategies when a query finds nothing. Folders, inbox rules, categories, and follow-up flags provide controls for organising the results.

Calendar operations cover event creation and listing, declining invitations, and cancelling or deleting events. Contact records can be maintained separately from people searches spanning contacts, directory entries, and recent communications. Settings tools adjust automatic replies and working hours. Shared inbox access, Focused Inbox overrides, and room discovery are available for Microsoft 365 rather than personal accounts; shared mailbox reads need extra permissions, and room search requires permissions plus administrator consent. Email sending offers a preview without delivery, with session limits and recipient restrictions applied when configured. These controls reduce risk but do not guarantee protection against unintended actions. Authentication uses an Azure app registration and Microsoft sign-in.
