Overview

Markdown drives page maintenance in easy-notion-mcp: agents create pages, append material, and inspect content at page, section, block, or toggle level. Targeted text replacement preserves uploaded files and untouched blocks, while individual block updates retain identity but cannot change block types. Local Markdown files can become pages through stdio, subject to workspace and file restrictions. Section and toggle rewrites are destructive and have no rollback. Whole-page replacement also has preservation limits, including loss of subpages and synced blocks and conversion of rich bookmarks to links.

Database workflows pair schema inspection with filtered or sorted queries and row changes expressed as simple property values. Batch insertion returns outcomes for each entry so failed items can be retried separately. View tools cover retrieval, querying, creation, editing, and deletion; dashboard view creation is not supported. Schema editing can rename or remove properties, while changing select or status options requires the complete intended option list. Page search, child-page listings, moves, restoration, and comment tools support navigation and collaboration, alongside workspace user lookup.
