Algorand MCP Server

Algorand-mcp gives AI agents tools to manage wallets, query blockchain data, and build, simulate, sign, and submit transactions. Compatible MCP clients can also access swaps, prediction markets, and paid HTTP resources.

Overview

Algorand wallet workflows cover account creation, readable nicknames, balance and asset checks, and selection of an active signing account. Developers using compatible AI clients can build payment transactions, asset operations, and application calls, simulate transaction groups, and submit signed transactions. TEAL compilation and disassembly sit alongside Algod and Indexer queries for account state, application data, and transaction history. The agent wallet holds mnemonics in local SQLite storage and omits them from wallet responses; reading the database file can expose those secrets.

Trading workflows include Tinyman pool and liquidity quotes, Haystack swap previews and execution, and Alpha Arcade market browsing, orders, positions, and claims. For paid APIs, Bazaar tools help locate resources, while x402 discovery can inspect an endpoint's payment terms without paying. A separate request tool pays with USDC or ALGO from the active wallet and retries the HTTP request. NFD lookups, Pera asset verification, and ARC-26 URI and QR generation cover additional Algorand tasks. The server communicates over stdio and supports mainnet, testnet, or localnet selection on each tool call.
